Core Values: LIVE FOR HIM 

 

• (L) Love - We desire our ministry to be marked by our love.  Therefore, we strive and are committed to love all nations, all kindreds, and all people.             (John 13:34-35) 

• (I) Integrity - We commit to live our lives above reproach, that we may say, “follow me as I follow Christ.”  (Job 27:6; I Corinthians 11:1)

• (V) Victory - Living a godly life assures us victory.  (I Corinthians 15:57)

• (E) Excellence - Everything we do must be carried out with Excellence in mind. (Colossians 3:23-24)

 

 

• (F) Family - Family Matters, God has ordained the family as the foundational institution of human society.  A husband is to love his wife as Christ loved the Church.  He has the God- given responsibility to provide for, to protect, and to lead his family.  A wife is to submit herself graciously to the servant leadership of her husband even as the church willingly submits to the headship of Christ.  Children, from the moment of conception, are a blessing and heritage from the Lord.  Parents are to demonstrate to their children God’s pattern for marriage.  Parents are to teach their children spiritual and moral values and to lead them, through consistent lifestyle example and loving discipline, to make choices based on biblical truth.  Children are to honor and obey their parents.  (Genesis 1:26-28; Ephesians 5:21-33; 6:1-4)  

• (O) Obedience - As we obey God, we demonstrate our love for God.  (John 14:15)

• (R) Righteousness - We are fully persuaded that we are the righteousness of God.  That is who we are.  (II Corinthians 5:21)

 

• (H) Holy Bible - The Holy Bible, and only the Bible, is the authoritative Word of God.  It alone is the final authority in determining all doctrinal truths.  Therefore, the Word of God is the foundational supremacy in how we are to conduct our lives.  (II Timothy 3:16)

• (I) Intimacy - We are in pursuit of an ongoing and constant fellowship with our Father, His Son Jesus Christ and the precious gift of the Holy Spirit. And we desire the same fellowship with each other.  (I John 1:3;         II Corinthians 13:14)   

• (M) Ministry - Every born again believer has a God-given ministry.  The Safe Place Ministry is committed to working and walking along side you to help you fulfill your God-given purpose.  (Ephesians 4:7-16;                    I Corinthians 12; Romans 12:1-8)
